Sapir lab

Yaron earned his Ph.D. in 2022 from Bar-Ilan University and joined the lab in 2024. He is currently working on a project funded by Google, aimed at identifying mass flowering events from space using publicly available satellite imagery.

Research Interests:

1.Integrating numerical modeling with remote sensing to map and predict processes like forest fires.
2.remote sensing for agriculture and resource management applied research.
3.Utilizing  remote sensing of vegetation for public health applications.
